Simple Troubleshooting stepsfor known issues:

Issue: Burns but dies when letting go of the control button.

Cause: Loose thermos-nut.

Solution: Check if nut can be turned by hand; it should turn easily if loose. Tighten the nut under the valve at the back of the heater, just above the brown wire, using a number 8 spanner.

Issue: Gas appliance will not ignite

Cause 1: Your cylinder is empty

Solution: Replace with a filled cylinder.

Cause 2: Insufficient gas flow.

Solution: Open the cylinder valve. Ensure the valve is open enough to allow gas flow.

Cause 3: No spark (visual inspection of the ignitor pin required).

Solution: Book the unit in for repair. Supply details

Issue: Gas appliance burns then dies/won't stay on

Cause 1: Overfilled cylinder (filled weight must not exceed the Tare weight plus the capacity weight).

Solution: Return it to the refilling station for assistance purging it.

Cause 2: Poor ventilation (insufficient oxygen levels in room).

Solution: Improve ventilation by opening door or window slighly.
