Among the many ways in which Atami Hydro Rokz pebbles may be used in horticulture is by being used as a substrate at the base of a flowerpot in the place of soil. The Atami Hydro Rokz are used to supplement the drainage system, increasing the efficiency of both the drainage system and the oxygen supply from below. Growing medium aeration may be improved by using hydro stones in the substrate mix.

It’ll be easier for the roots to spread out. Plants may also be grown directly on hydro stones, which is the third popular technique. Sometimes an oxygen pump is used in conjunction with this method. The oxygen pump ensures that the roots at the bottom of the pot always have access to sufficient oxygen, and the water at the top of the pot contains liquid nutrients.
