Composition:
Each 5ml contains:
Magnesium hydroxide suspension 1,75ml (equivalent to 148,87mg magnesium hydroxide)
Preservative:
Methylparaben – 0,2% m/v
Sodium benzoate – 0,035% m/v
Pharmacological classification:
A 11.4.1 antacids – acid neutralizers
Pharmacological action:
Acid neutralizing
Indications:
For the relief of hyperacidity
Contra-indications:
Should not be given to patients with renal failure.
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Dosage and directions for use:
Shake the bottle before use
To be given three to four times a day.
Babies 1 – 6 months: half a medicine measure (2,5ml)
Babies 6 months to 1 year: one medicine measure (5ml) or as directed by a doctor.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Do not use the maximum dosage of this product for more than 2 weeks, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor.
Side-effects and special precautions:
May cause diarrhoea.
May interfere with the absorption of other medicines given concomitantly.
Hyper magnesaemia may occur if renal function is impaired.

Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

A white uniform suspension with the taste and odour of dill.
Presentation:
50ml and 100ml amber plastic bottles with white snap-on caps.
Storage instructions:
Store below 25 degrees celcius. Keep out of reach of children
