How to get the best results: application to ornamentals

efekto aphicide plus is a systemic product and will be translocated upward into the plant system from root uptake. To assure optimum effectiveness, the product must be drenched around the drip area of the target plant so that the roots can absorb the active ingredient. The addition of a nitrogen containing fertilizer, prior to application, may enhance the uptake of the active ingredient.

Where can it be used? Conifers and roses and other ornamentals.

When drenching plants with woody stems, systemic activity will be delayed until the active ingredient is translocated throughout the plant. In some cases, this translocation delay could take a few days. For this reason, applications should be made prior to anticipated pest infestation to achieve optimum levels of control.

Active ingredient:
– imidacloprid (chloro-nicotinyl) 20 g/l (harmful / skadelik)

Precautions:
– avoid inhalation of spray mist / fumes.
– avoid eye and skin contact.
– wear protective clothing and wash this after use.
– wash with soap and water after use or accidental skin contact. Wash contaminated clothing after use.
– do not eat, drink or smoke whilst handling or applying the insecticide or before work clothes have been removed and hands and face washed.
– clean spray applicators immediately after use and dispose of rinse water where it cannot contaminate crops, grazing, rivers or dams.
– prevent contamination of food, feed, eating utensils and drinking water.
– destroy empty container by perforation and flattening and do not use for any other purpose.
– keep children and pets away from treated area until aphicide plus is dry.
