The Elements weight vest can be adjusted to any weight you desire with the included 1kg iron blocks. The shoulders are padded for comfort and the vests are short, keeping the mass centered around your chest and upper back. This design makes the vest comfortable and allows you to move freely in a wide variety of exercises, such as pushups, pull-ups, inverted rows, squats, dips, pike push ups, running; cross training etc.
Which size vest is right for you? That depends on your weight, intended exercises and desired repetition range. A good rule of thumb is to use about 15% of your body weight for high-level athletes and 20% of your body weight for elite-level athletes. For example, 70kg high-level athletes: 70 x 0.15 = 10.5kg. 10kg vest recommended. 70kg elite-level athletes: 700.2 = 14kg. 16kg vest recommended.
Many people choose a vest that they will work into over time. For example, you may buy a 20kg vest and start with only 10kg by removing 10kg from your vest.
One size fits most and the vest can be adjusted using the velcro strap and buckle.
