Description:

Fire Blankets should be kept in restaurants or homes where a stove and other gas and heat generating appliances are used.

Fire Blankets are essential fire safety product,s particularly effective on deep fat fires. (Class F fires).

The Fire Blanket is placed over the fire and extinguishes it by forming an air tight seal which smothers the fire by cutting off the supply of oxygen.

Fire Blankets should be used on all chip or fat fires as it is not advisable to use a standard fire extinguisher due to the potential risk of spraying the burning oil.
