soothing, healing and protective base.
– Shea butter: the concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturising for the skin. It’s known to heal dry skin and help protect the skin’s natural oils. A 2010 research study found that shea butter has an anti-inflammatory action. Shea butter contains oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin and prevents drying. When used over a period of time it softens and strengthens the skin.
– Coconut oil: an excellent skin moisturiser that helps to replenish and protect dry, chafed and irritated skin.
