Technical information
How does the wool in the MT500 t-shirt limit the proliferation of odors?
Thanks to its high absorption capacity, wool limits the appearance of bad odors. Indeed, merino wool does not only absorb the water contained in sweat, it also absorbs its exhalations of perspiration odors. So you can wear your t-shirt for several days in a row, which allows you to take fewer clothes on a trek!

How did we make our MT500 trekking shirt more durable?
Use of a BETA-SPUN yarn structure in which polyamide filaments form a fine sheath around the merino wool fibres and thus protect them against friction and cuts without altering their technical properties.

How does the merino wool in the MT500 t-shirt promote the evaporation of perspiration?
After exertion and heavy sweating, merino wool easily traps warm insulating air and can absorb up to 35% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, which is appreciated in cool weather. In hot, dry weather, the evaporation of water in the wool absorbs energy, which at the same time cools your body slightly.

Where does the merino wool used for the MT500 Merino Wool T-Shirt come from?
We use wool from Merino sheep raised on farms in South Africa that do not practice mulesing.
We have decided to build a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to enable us to ensure the good living and shearing conditions of the sheep from which the wool used in our products comes.
We thus have a traceability that allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.

How do I wash my MT500 Merino Wool T-Shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your merino wool t-shirt at 30 C, normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry flat, NEVER in a tumble dryer unless you want to have a merino t-shirt for a doll! You can find an article on the Forclaz website on the care of merino wool clothing.

Any last advice before use?
For added softness of the component, do not hesitate to wash your T-shirt before its first use.

Tests
The MT500 Merino Wool T-shirt has been tested in the Northern Alps, both for mountain trekking and other outdoor sports. These tests have allowed us to validate the product in use.

Maximum washing temperature 30 C. Very gentle treatment.
