The Fortis Maglock 400kg Outdoor SS is a stainless steel maglock with a holding strength of 400kg and suitable for outdoor use. It is a fail safe lock meaning it requires power to lock. Fortis Electro magnetic locks (or maglocks) are suitable for a wide range of security applications and are the preferred device for access control where a large number of entries and exits have to be controlled. Maglocks are popular due to the lack of moving parts, quietness of operation and holding strength. Dual voltage 12 & 24 VDC. Current drawn 500mA / 250mA. MOV surge protection.
