How to use:
Step 1: Hold the grafting stock in the grafting tool and s/queeze the handle to make the cut, repeat this step to cut stem from the donor plant. Take care to ensure that the groove is cut in the stock plant.
Step 2: Slide the donor stem into the groove of the stock plant, matching the cut surfaces as closely as possible. If the stock and donor plant are not the same size, match on the side only.
Step 3: Bind the joint with tape, the sterilizing material will protect against b/acteria and weather.
Step 4: Use the pruner to cut useless branches from the plant.

Note:
1. Apply an environmentally friendly rafting tape to the grafted area and overlap it 3 to 4 times to ensure it is tight (airtight: prevent rain/water, or any other from entering the grafted area and maintaining the moisture/joint area within the graft). It is also important to apply a tree seal to cover any newly cut exposed areas (to prevent infection and maintain moisture in the scion/rootstock!),
2. Cover the grafted area with a clear plastic bag (spray some filtered water into the inner bag area, keep the water inside the bag, do not spray water in the grafted area). If the grafted area is exposed to direct sunlight, use a kraft paper pouch to protect it.
3. After 3weeks, if the scion still looks green, then chances are that you will see sprouts from the scion within 4 to 8 weeks depending on temperature and weather.
