100% Kojic acid dipalmitate is a more stable form of Kojic acid which will not degrade easily. It is a mild inhibitor of the formation of skin pigmentation, resulting in effective skin brightening. Kojic acid dipalmitate powder is only soluble in oil and can be used to make DIY face creams and serums or can be added directly to your favourite skincare range.

How to use product: Recommended concentration 2-5%.

DIY skincare: Dissolve in hot (70-80°C) oil phase of formula. Recommended carrier oils include; cosmetic grade mineral oil, grapeseed oil and MCT oil. It can be combined with other skin actives like Glycolic acid and Vitamin C. Always wear a sunscreen to avoid sunburn.

Addition into creams.
Beginner: Add 1 level teaspoon(tsp) of Kojic Acid Dipalmitate Powder to about 2-3 tablespoons(tbsp) of carrier oil (Grapeseed etc), heat in a water bath and avoid microwave. Add mixture to 100ml of your favourite base cream or water-based formula and mix well. Store in cool dark place from direct sunlight.

Advanced: Add 1½ level tsp of Kojic Acid Dipalmitate Powder to about 2-3 tablespoons(tbsp) of carrier oil (Grapeseed etc) heat in a water bath and avoid microwave. Add mixture to 100ml of your favourite base cream or water-based formula and mix well.

Do not add powder directly to creams, it will not dissolve.

Kojic Acid Dipalmitate can be mixed with other cosmetic actives like Vitamin C, Alpha Arbutin, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid and Niacinamide.
