Safety Instructions
Warning – Read and follow all the safety instructions:
Use the product with the provided power adapter only.
Be cautious of static electricity during installation and usage.
Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
Remove nails, metal, or other conductive objects from the installation surface before attaching the strip light, as it may cause short-circuiting.
Do not allow children to install the strip light alone.
Avoid installing the strip light near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).
Unroll the strip light before powering on.
Please turn off the power and unplug the adapter when the strip light will not be used for a long time.
The recommended working temperature is between 0-40 C.
The storage temperature should be between -20-60 C.

Power-on Test
Before You Install
1. Unpack the box and check all items included.
2. Power on the rope light and check whether it lights up.
Caution: Do NOT power on before spreading the rope light.

Control Box Function Description
1. Turn the light on/off.
2. Press to cycle through 9 colors.
3. Press to enter the Music Mode / Press and hold to cycle through 6 brightness levels.

Installing Steps
1. Wipe the installation surface to ensure it is dry and clean.
2. Fix the mounting clips (via adhesives or screws) first. Then fix the rope light.
3. If there is an inner corner, install an internal angle cover (via adhesives or screws) first.
4. Peel off the protective film on the control box and stick it to a suitable location.
5. Power on the rope light and enjoy.

Pair Your Device with the Govee Home App

What You Need
a. A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands.
5GHz is not supported.
b. A smartphone or tablet running iOS 8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).

Pairing Instructions
a. Download Govee Home App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
b. Turn on the Bluetooth on your smartphone.
c. Open the app, tap the icon in the top right corner and search for “”H6641.””
d. Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Controlling the Device with Your Voice
a. Open Govee Home App, then tap the device icon to enter the details page.
b. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
c. Select “”User Guide”” and follow the on-screen instructions to control the device by using your voice.

Troubleshooting:
a. The rope light does not work/is malfunctioning.
Check if the adapter used is the one provided.
Power the rope light off then on. Make sure the adapter and the control box have been powered on.
Long press and hold the power button on the control box and quickly press the middle button four times to restore factory settings.

b. Cannot connect to Govee Home App.
Do not skip Bluetooth connection in the app.
Ensure Bluetooth on your smartphone has been turned on.
Your smartphone may be incompatible with Govee Home App.
Try using a different smartphone.
Power the rope light and your smartphone’s Bluetooth off then on, then try again.
Please ensure your smartphone is within 1m/3.28ft of the rope light when connecting.
Clear any obstructions that are between the rope light and your smartphone.

c. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
Do not skip the Wi-Fi connection steps in the app.
5GHz network is not supported. Please set the router to 2.4GHz and then reset it.
Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi and check whether the network works well.
Make sure that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
Change your Wi-Fi password to a brief one. 8 numbers and letters are suggested.
Connect your smartphone’s hotspot to the rope light and check whether the router works with the rope light.

d. Cannot connect to Alexa.
Unplug every connective part of the rope light then firmly reconnect them.
Reset your smartphone’s Wi-Fi.
Unplug the adapter port then re-plug it.

Disassembly Tip:
The product is divided into two parts: (1) a light source and (2) an adapter. By detaching the output terminal of the adapter, you can easily remove the light source or the adapter.
