Conjugated Linoleic Acid 80% FFA is a free fatty acid mixture high in isomers of Conjugated Linoleic Acid and it is made from natural safflower oil by a proprietary process. CLA is a true 1:1 ratio of cis9, trans11 CLA and trans10, cis12 CLA which are the two main isomers and are considered natural trans-fatty acids. The CLA isomer c9, t11 appears to be responsible for improving muscle growth, while the t10, c12 isomer primarily prevents lipogenesis, that is, the storage of fat in adipose tissue. There are a number of ways in which CLA is thought to aid weight loss, as it triggers a selection of chemical reactions in the body that drive fat burning.
