GrowKit Vermiculite 5L Tub

Vermiculite is commonly used in compost formulations with coir or peat.
It creates ideal conditions for plant growth and improves aeration of the soil, promotes a consistent release of added fertilizer and improves moisture retention of the soil.
The vermiculite itself also adds magnesium, potassium and trace amounts of other minerals to the soil. The air to water ratio present in vermiculite and peat/coir composts stimulate root growth and facilitate the production of healthy seedlings.
Because it is sterile when processed, it requires no additional treatment prior to being added to compost. It may also be used to carry and extend fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides in gardens of all types and sizes.
