HANDYPRO Plaster Primer by Handyman’s is a high-performance primer that penetrates new plaster, gypsum, concrete, cement and brick for optimum adhesion, and resists alkali, peeling and efflorescence.

Recommended Use:
For interior and exterior on cement, concrete, plaster, gypsum, bricks, and various types of building boards. Also used to seal porous cement.
Coverage:
5 â 8m2 per litre per coat. Applied in a 1 coat application, depending on the porosity and profile of the surface. Highly porous surfaces may require a second coat.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be clean, sound, dry and free from oil, dirt, dust, fungi, and contaminants.
Remove all loose and flaking paint completely.
Cement plaster, concrete or masonry must be dry before painting and should not exceed a moisture content of 10% or have aged for at least 4-6 weeks.
Application:
After correct surface preparation, stir Handyman’s Plaster Primer well using a flat paddle.
Thinning is not recommended.
Apply one coat evenly with a brush or roller, highly porous surfaces may require a second coat.
Do not apply to external surfaces in wet weather or if rain is likely.
Allow good ventilation in confined areas.
Allow drying completely before overcoating with the finishing topcoat.
