A Brief Overview

HMT's Mega C Plus (60 Caps). Vitamin C is arguable the most important of the water-soluble nutrients.

The human body cannot produce Vitamin C and must obtain it from food sources or supplements.

Recognized for its benefits as an effective antioxidant, Vitamin C is thought to play an important role in supporting the immune system, cardiovascular health, prenatal health, vision and promoting younger looking skin.

A lack of Vitamin C in the diet can result in a number of health disorders including Scurvy which was often a problem for sailors of ancient times resulting from a lack of fresh fruit or vegetable during long voyages.

Diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables should supply sufficient Vitamin C to keep the body healthy.

HMT's Mega C Plus provides 750mg of Buffered Vitamin C per tablet in a sustained release formula which can help maintain the body's access to Vitamin C for several hours.
