An updated version of the popular ISO-L8R stands, the IsoAcoustics ISO-130 is a pair of acoustic isolation stands offering improved tonal and spatial accuracy for your speakers. Measuring 5.1 x 6.0 inches with a height range of 2.8 to 8.3 inches, the ISO-130 isolation stands are designed to hold small studio monitors weighing up to 20 pounds. By preventing the transfer of speaker cabinet energy to surrounding surfaces, the ISO-130 stands isolate your speakers and reduce smearing. They can be used in broadcast video production houses and recording studios to allow the speaker monitors to perform in free space and achieve their full sonic potential.

The stands offer 14 variations of height and tilt to help you optimize the placement of your monitors and bring your tweeters to ear level. The ISO-130 stands provide superior isolation and decoupling from the supporting surface to minimize reflections and unwanted resonance. The stands are biased to keep all energy in alignment with the listening position, providing greater clarity and focus.

Assembled in the short configuration and using the tilt settings to focus the studio monitors on the listening position or assembled in the tall configuration to bring the studio monitors up to ear level and tilted to optimize the focus.

Our ears are typically 20″ above the desk surface when seated and raising 4″ or 5″ studio monitors brings them up to ear level where they can be can be further focused by setting the tilt angle.

Desk reflections can be mitigated by increasing the tilt angle or raising the IsoAcoustics stands to the tall configuration.
