It's no secret that pizza needs high heat to get the best crispy-chewy crust and ooey-gooey melt on the cheese.
The Kamado Club Pizza & Baking Stone is a versatile piece of cookware because when preheated it conducts enough heat for baking pizzas, breads & desserts. For pizza, pre-heat your pizza stone, ideally to 300 C. The stone retains and distributes the heat for even baking / browning and the ceramics pulls moisture from the outer surface of the dough giving it that brick oven crustiness. Without this heat you end up with a soggy bottom crust.
Avoid cutting the pizza on the stone, use a serving board. Scraping is how to clean a pizza stone. After that, a quick wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry.
