Sickle shape cutting edges surround the material and prevent the wire rope fanning out. Little handforce required due to very high transmission ratio. With opening spring and locking device. Cutting edges additionally induction hardened. High-grade special tool steel, forged, multi stage oil-hardened. For Bowden cables and soft wire rope up to 3.0 mm dia. (also V2A).
