Although glutathione is generally used for treating health conditions, it is also an effective skin brightener. This is due to the presence of an amino acid called Cysteine.
Glutathione brightens your skin in two ways.

Glutathione lowers the production of melanin in your skin. Melanin is a substance that gives your skin, eyes, and hair its color.
Glutathione also causes your body to produce brighter skin tones, rather than darker skin tones.
The amount of skin brightening you will receive is dependent on how often you apply it to your skin.
Anti-Aging
Glutathione has another great skin benefit. Anti-aging. The most common cause of skin aging is photoaging. Photoaging is caused by repeated exposure to UV light from the sun. UV rays produce a substance called free radicals which damage our skin cells and causes early aging.

Free Radicals typically result in:
Wrinkles and fine lines
Uneven pigmentation resulting in freckles and age spots.
Loose rough skin
Visible capillaries
Worried about free radical damage? Glutathione is an antioxidant which will protect your body from free radicals.

A 10-week study was created to measure the effects of glutathione. After applying glutathione to their faces participants found there was a clear decrease in pigmentation. The overall moisture content of their skin improved, and wrinkles were significantly reduced.
Uses
Cosmetic
Add to the water phase of formulations. Can be added directly into a finished cream or base cream.
Can be used as a wash off paste.

Oral Dosage
The recommended daily dose is two 1ml doses, 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach, daily for the first month to boost your glutathione levels and then one level 1ml spoon each day thereafter for maintenance. You simply dissolve the powder in water to make a drink, sprinkle it on cereal or add to your morning smoothie.
Glutathione is not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or for asthmatics.
Applications: All kinds of products including lotions, creams, fluids, makeup products. Suitable for oral consumption 1 to 2 ml daily, 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach.
