As this dye contains no bleach, it will not lighten dark brown or black hair to this brown shade. Herbal dyes can only add colour, they can't remove it.

100% Herbal Brown dye gives your hair a beautiful, reddish brown shade. The botanical ingredients in the product not only colour your hair, but can also improve hair growth and scalp condition by improving circulation to the scalp and unblocking hair follicles, and can help in clearing up problems such as dandruff, itchiness and hair loss.

The 100% Herbal Brown dye is a good shade to use on non-grey hair and on hair that is less than 50% grey in a 'salt and pepper' mix. Grey hair tends to go a more reddish shade than a brown shade. If you want to dye very grey hair, please get some Love My Hair indigo powder to mix with this dye or use the Love My Hair 100% Herbal Dark Brown or Soft Black dye instead.

This brown dye is a good shade to use if you're doing a 2-step henna/indigo dye process. You can use it instead of the henna.

This is a permanent to semi-permanent dye depending on your hair type, amount of grey hair and lifestyle.
