How & when to use:
– Twist and pull the seal off the nozzle
– Squeeze the tube slightly so that a drop of the solution appears at the tip in order to provide lubrication for easier insertion
– In adults, insert the nozzle completely into the rectum
– Remove tube neck from the rectum, keeping the tube compressed. Slightly tense you buttocks to prevent solution from running out and throw the used microenema away
– Within 5-15 minutes of application, you should be able to gently empty your bowels without suffering the unwanted effects other laxatives can bring
Safety Tip:
For children under 3 years of age, only half the length of the nozzle should be inserted into the rectum (as indicated on the nozzle).
