6-layer fsc-certified Canadian maple deck. we created it with 6 layers of wood where we would normally use 7, without weakening the board’s integrity. This makes the board lighter, more reactive and better suited to the stature of kids aged 8 to 12.

Large enough to roll well but still light enough for better manoeuvrability. Wheel composition: 100% ‘super high rebound’ polyurethane. Our best urethane formula.100a hardness.very reactive and not overly grippy, which makes it easier to do tricks like slides.

How are our products tested?
All our decks are tested in the laboratory. These tests ensure that the decks meet all European standards for skateboard decks and tests for wear. In addition to lab tests, we do field tests – some measured and others based on the testers’ opinions – to really put the product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.

Tips for storage and maintenance
Storage Tips
Store in a cool, dry place, away from damp. Never put in direct contact with water and do not store in a damp place, such as a car boot in winter.

Restrictions on use
Skateboard is not designed for urban commuting.

Test product
All our decks are tested in the laboratory. These tests validate their compliance with the standards for skateboard decks as well as their resistance to wear. In addition to lab tests, we do field tests – some measured and others based on the testers’ opinions – to really put the product through its paces. We rely on our community of passionate, demanding ambassadors who work at decathlon around the world.

We worked in collaboration with skateboarding instructors so that we could create a board specifically for kids aged 8 to 12 learning to skateboard.
