Product Overview
Bluetooth 5 Low Energy Module based on the Nordic nRF52840 single-chip controller. The Bluetooth 5 feature enables a higher symbol rate of 2Mbps using the high-speed LE 2M PHY. Furthermore, the new LE advertising extensions allow for much larger amounts of data to be broadcasted in connectionless scenarios. In addition to Bluetooth 5, the qualified Bluetooth® mesh profile stack supports 802.15.4 and NFC-A. With its ARM Cortex®-M4F a 1MB flash and a 256Kb RAM, the PAN1780 offers high design flexibility. It can easily be used in standalone mode, there by eliminating the need for an external processor – saving complexity, space and cost.
