Features explained: 

1. ‘Constant pressure’ at every delivery point (Whether you are using 1 tap or 5 taps the exact same pressure is delivered (Dependant on model), this can only be achieved with a variable speed drive (EPIC)).
2. The pump is built of stainless steel.
3. Safety – The integrated input-filter prevents any disturbances in the domestic network to ensure reliable use. The filter follows EMC Directives (The EMC Directive limits electromagnetic emissions from equipment in order to ensure that, when used as intended, such equipment does not disturb radio and telecommunication signals, as well as other equipment).
4. Comfort – The almost noiseless ULTRA S pumps rarely run at its maximum speed due to the smart EPIC regulation always granting the desired hydraulic performances at lower speeds.
5. Electricity Savings – up to 40%, compared to conventional speed control systems (Please refer to the attached pdf, ‘Starting Methods’ to understand one of the ways that a variable speed drive saves electricity on start-up compared to other methods).
6. Longer Life of the unit and hydraulic system (When a pump is running at a lower RPM, the wear and tear is automatically reduced thereby extending the life of the pump).
7. Variety of applications and performance. The EPIC variable speed drive is connected directly to the motor terminal. Thanks to the EPIC, the pump range offers a wide hydraulic performance range in terms of pressure and water flow.
8. Built-in soft ramp-up & soft ramp-down capability to extend system durability and reduce consumption peaks.
9. Built-in protection against dry running and overload (Excludes incoming supply protection).
10. EPIC has an auxiliary input available that can be used for float switches, alarms, etc.
11. Simplified calibration (The EPIC is the easiest variable speed drive to calibrate bar none. PLEASE NOTE: Every model has been pre-calibrated to the individual pumps best efficiency point (B.E.P) for your customer’s convenience. This however can be changed if the client so desires).
