With the new generation of the P ZERO Race TLR, Pirelli improves one of its bestsellers on the market. Through a new construction of the carcass, a significant improvement has been achieved in one of the most important parameters of a bicycle tire: the rolling resistance. The new SpeedCORE carcass is a thin, air-impermeable and compressed layer of rubber compound with aramid particles that lines the inner part of the tire. The high flexibility of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and more supple, while the aramid provides better puncture resistance. The carcass is completed by a 120-tpi nylon fabric and a puncture-resistant aramid breaker, while the tread pattern incorporates the SmartEVO compound to ensure maximum performance. With all its specific improvements, the new P ZERO Race TLR is produced in Italy elaborately, offering unique quality and superior performance.

SmartEVO Compound
This compound for road use is the result of Pirelli’s long motorsport experience and collaboration with the pro teams of the World Tour. The SmartEVO compound is based on three different polymers, each of which offers the best performance in a perfect ratio in different areas. The unique composition of the polymers with their special properties is the core element of the SmartEVO compound, which provides better grip and less rolling resistance in all weather conditions. The SmartEVO compound is a high-performance composition designed for modern road cycling, from daily training to World Tour racing. This compound is an exclusive feature of the P ZERO range.

SpeedCORE
A carcass based on a 120 tpi fabric. It offers superior suppleness and the characteristic racing feel of the P ZERO products, as well as excellent air retention and easy mounting on most tubeless wheels. The reinforcing layers and aramid breaker under the tread make it a reliable, puncture-resistant carcass.

Note: The sizes 28-622 and larger are compatible with hookless rims according to the maximum ETRTO air pressure of 5 bar/73psi. The sizes 26-622 and smaller are NOT compatible with hookless rims!

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
