The R DE NT-USB Mini is a compact USB microphone that delivers high-quality audio for vocals, dialogue, guitar,
and more, inspired by the legendary R DE studio microphone range. It features a studio-grade headphone output for easy monitoring, as well as a zero-latency mode to eliminate distracting echo when recording. The microphone has a detachable magnetic desk stand and a 360-degree swing mount, allowing for flexible positioning. R DE Connect is a free software solution from R DE for podcasting and livestreaming that unlocks access to the NT-USB Mini’s in-built compressor, noise gate, and APHEX Aural Exciter and Big Bottom processors that make you sound even better! It can connect up to four NT-USB Minis to a single computer and offers intuitive, fully featured recording interfaces and automatic mix-minus for clear communication.
Which mic is right for me?
When choosing a microphone, consider the environment and connectivity. Dynamic microphones, like the RODE
Podmic, are ideal for noisy environments as they reject noise and focus on the subject. For quieter environments,
condenser microphones, such as the RODE NT-USB Mini or NT-USB+, provide even more detailed and clear audio
quality. USB microphones are the simplest option for connecting to a computer, while XLR microphones require an interface, such as the RODE AI-1 or Rodecaster Pro, to connect to a computer but can plug directly into most mixing
consoles and sound desks.x000B
