Tanto: Double or single-edged, straight bladed.
A tanto (“short sword”) is one of the traditionally made Japanese swords (nihonto) that were worn by the samurai class of feudal Japan.
The tanto dates to the Heian period, when it was mainly used as a weapon but evolved in design over the years to become more ornate.

Each sword is hand-forged in the traditional Japanese technique.
They all have cast tsuba handguards in the shape of two Japanese dragons, and the tsuka handles are finished in a traditional Japanese to wrap.
