Scavi&Ray Prosecco DOC Rosé 750ml

The Glera grape is a white wine grape that grows in sunny Veneto, northern Italy. At least 85% of this grape must be used in the production of a Prosecco. Pinot Noir (Nero) clearly belongs to the “Red Fruits” category and gives the Prosecco Rosé its unique, salmon-coloured colouring.

The Pinot Noir (Nero) is the classic grape variety for soft wines, with aromas of red fruits and is just the right wine if you love velvety or strawberry aromas.

By the way, Pinot Noir is also used for the production of champagne!

It was only on August 13th, 2020 that an Italian consortium of Prosecco DOC passed a decree stating that for the first time in history the red grape “Pinot Nero” (French Pinot Noir) may also be blended with the 85% Glera share.

Prosecco DOC Rosé – Perfect for every occasion!
Due to its lightness, the Prosecco Rosé is particularly suitable as an aperitif for the summertime. Basically, however, it is the perfect companion for all festive occasions such as Christmas and New Years Eve.

Appearance: Light rosé with slightly violet reflections.
Scent: Fine fruit, citrus note, ripe pear, green apple, subtle raspberry and pomegranate.
Taste: Clean, juicy and fresh with well-integrated carbonic acid, pear, apple, citrus, slightly floral in the background.
Special feature: A fine, almost foaming perlage.
