Characteristics: Deep root system,
Aggressive grower during the summer and dormant in the winter,
Likes heavy fertile soils rich in humus.

Creeping Grass which is a vigorous grower, with a medium to coarse texture.

Good for sports fields especially rugby, lawns and erosion control.
Sowing: Preferable in Spring to Autumn likes Sun and semi-shade.
Spreads at around 5g per 1m2.
Covers in 8 – 10 weeks.
Germination takes 7 – 14 days.

Suitable for planting in the whole of Southern Africa.

To sow the seed prepare the soil and make it smooth and flat. Spread the seeds evenly, cover with bout 3mm of soil and water well with a fine spray. Keep moist during germination.
