• It can also be used to connect to an alarm system, be it fire, burglar or any other alarm system.  It needs a 12 V source to operate and it is easy to configure directly to a 12 V source or through a relay.  This is installed in hotels, hostels and other accomodation to improve accessability for hearing disabled persons.
