The Sonoff MINIR4, equipped with the ESP32 chip, actively transforms conventional switches into smart switches, thereby automating the control of lights and electronic devices. Itâs tiny size allows it to fit into various mounting boxes, including the smallest EU-type/86 type/120 type mounting box.
MINIR4 supports external switch control and easily connects to the momentary switch, door exit switch, SPDT switch, latching switch, and even dry contact sensors.
Furthermore, MINIR4 is not just a smart switch; it also includes a gateway function known as âeWeLink-Remote.â Once paired with MINIR4, you gain the capability to control it locally through S-MATE, utilizing the âeWeLink-Remoteâ signal. Moreover, this versatile device can seamlessly trigger other smart devices within your existing smart setup.
One of MINIR4âs notable features is the âdetach relayâ mode. This mode separates the states of the external switches from the relay, ensuring that using the external switch button doesnât affect the relayâs status. For instance, if you activate the âdetach relayâ mode, turning off the light wonât disconnect your smart light. Instead, you can still manage your smart lights using the app.
