Steps to clean a rubber doormat:
– Regularly shake out debris and scrape of visible dirt
– Occasionally spray mat with water and scrub with soap
– Hang-dry when wet

Steps to clean a synthetic doormat:
– Regularly shake out and vacuum
– Wash with water and mild detergent when very dirty
– Hand-dry when wet
– Not suitable for machine washing or wringing
