StrikeAlert Portable Lightning Detector

The StrikeAlert is the world’s first convenient, dependable and easy-to-use personal lightning detector. The StrikeAlert is a small, pager size device, that can clip onto your belt, and detects lightning up to 60 kilometres away. The device indicates how far each lightning strike is on an LED representing distance, as well as an audible alarm. The unit can also indicate is a storm is approaching or moving away. Outdoor use only, for activities such as golf, swimming, bowls, fishing, biking, soccer, forestry etc.
