A: Tineco FLOOR ONE series is the smart floor washer which automatically detects how dirty the floor is and applies the appropriate amount of detergent, water, roller pressure and suction power to ensure the perfect hard floor clean every time.

Q: Do you have to vacuum an area first before using the FLOOR ONE?

A: There is no need to vacuum an area first because the FLOOR ONE can vacuum and wash the floor simultaneously.

Q: What kind of floors it can be used on?

A: The FLOOR ONE can be used on non-carpeted floor such as vinyl, tile, and sealed wood floors.

Q: Can this be used for dry vacuuming? Can you just vacuum without using water?

A: The FLOOR ONE can't be used without water for dry vacuuming. It will cause damage to the brush roller.

Q: Can you use a third-party cleaning solution?

A: It is not recommended to use a third-party cleaning solution because the floor washer is designed to be used with the Tineco Cleaning Solution to optimize the amount of bubbles that are produced with cleaning solutions. Third-party solutions can cause an over abundance of bubbles when cleaning that could fill up the Dirty Water Tank within minutes of use.

In addition, the FLOOR ONE S7 Steam does not require any cleaning solution.

Q: How noisy is the floor washer?

A: The floor washer produces up to 78dBA of sound.

Q: How do you start self-cleaning mode?

A: To start the FLOOR ONE's self-cleaning mode, please follow the following steps: Always keep the floor washer plugged in.

Place the floor washer on the charging dock.

Empty the Dirty Water Tank.

The Clean Water Tank should be at least 1/3 full of water.

Press self-cleaning button at the top of the handle to evoke self-cleaning, press it again to choose either quick self-cleaning or Super self-cleaning, and 3 seconds later, the chosen brush roll self-cleaning mode will start.

Afterwards, the floor washer will automatically shut off once finished.

The entire self-cleaning process takes about 120 seconds (quick mode) / 360 seconds (super mode).

Q: How often I need to clean the brush roll?

A: We advise to clean the brush roll after each use.

Q: What is the suction power of the floor washer when sucking up water and debris?

A: Suction power for the floor washer ranges from 15-30AW (Air Watts) depending on how dirty the floor is.

Q: How long can the floor washer run on a full charge?

A: The FLOOR ONE has a Lithium-ion 25.2V 4000mAh battery that allows it to run 30-40 minutes depending on how often the floor washer is running on max power.

Q: How much time does the FLOOR ONE take to be fully charged?

A: The FLOOR ONE takes around 4.5 hours to charge to full.

Q: What is the voltage of the charger? Can you use a different charger?

A: The Tineco FLOOR ONE uses 100-240V in its charger (suitable for use in South Africa). We do not recommend using a different charger as that may not be compatible with the battery.

Q: What are the Clean Water Tank and Dirty Water Tank capacities?

A: The Clean Water Tank capacity is 0.85L. The Dirty Water Tank capacity is 0.72L.

Q: Does the water have to be at a specific temperature for cleaning?

A: The temperature can be between 5 Degrees C and 60 Degree C. Typically normal tap water is fine to use for cleaning. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the FLOOR ONE.

Q: Where should you store the FLOOR ONE?

A: We advise to store the FLOOR ONE on the storage tray that is provided with the FLOOR ONE. The storage tray allows the self-cleaning function to work more easily as the tray was designed to fit the head of the FLOOR ONE.

Q: Can you adjust the flow of water coming out?

A: The FLOOR ONE will automatically adjust the solution and clean water flow to make sure you have the ideal cleaning experience. You can adjust the water flow to maximum by entering MAX mode when cleaning. This will set the flow to maximum for when you have a tough cleaning situation.

Q: What is the flow rate?

A: It ranges from 20 to 100ml/min in relation to how dirty the environment is.

Q: What are the max button functions?

A: The max button enables higher speed and stronger spray to help remove tough spots and stains.

Q: Does the cleaning solution have an odor?

A: No, the cleaning solution does not have an odor, but it can deodorize the area you are cleaning.

Q: Will animal hair get wrapped around roller?

A: Normally this will not happen because the brush roller diameter size is big enough so it can avoid getting tangled. If there is a tangle, just remove the brush roller from its holder and use the cleaning tool to remove the hair tangle from the brush roller.

Q: Do you have to use distilled water?

A: There is no need to use distilled water. Tap water is perfectly fine to use in the FLOOR ONE. Please do not use hot water as this can cause internal damage to the pipes in the FLOOR ONE.

A: We would not recommend using bleach in this machine as it could damage the machine.
