A thick yoga mat for extra comfort
The Tunturi Yoga Mat 8 mm is ideal for all forms of yoga where you perform many poses in a lying or sitting position such as yin yoga, yoga nidra and meditation. This is because the mat is thicker than ‘normal’ yoga mats (3-4 mm), which provides extra comfort and allows you to enter a state of relaxation faster. Ideal if a hard floor easily causes discomfort at home or at the gym.

Less strain on muscles and joints
The mat is also very suitable for other forms of training, such as fitness and Pilates, even if you suffer from (chronic) pain or are recovering from an injury. The thickness reduces the strain on your back, legs, knees, ankles and joints.

Environmentally friendly and easy to clean
The yoga mat is made of 100% TPE: a combination of rubber and plastic. This eco-friendly material is 100% biodegradable, extra soft, non-slip and resistant to sweat, odours and bacteria. So there is no need to worry about visible sweat stains. For extra hygiene, you can easily clean the mat with a little detergent.
