The not-so-ordinary ball head has a normal mounting platform with a 1/4″-20 thread, but the platform converts into a universal phone clip that expands from 2.6″ to 3.7″, so it can accommodate different smartphone sizes. A built-in cold shoe at the top of the phone clip is used to supplement a microphone or an LED light for your phone.

Of course, the single-action ball head with a load capacity of 4.4 lb has the usual features of 360 rotation and 90 tilt, and when no longer in use, the 14.1 oz mini tripod folds to a compact 12.2″.
