It is supported by other key ingredients such as ferulic acid to boost the effectiveness of the vitamin C, along with niacinamide for brightening and vitamin E for for soothing and hydrating

Why use a complex?
Pure ascorbic acid is known to be unstable & highly susceptible to oxidation via heat, light, air & water. This means using more stable derivatives of vitamin C in our products ensures less discolouration and a longer shelf life. These more stable forms also oxidise at slower rates within the product, and therefore are more available to the skin, to deliver all that vitamin C has to offer.
