Children 2 to 12 years
The usual dose is 1 gummy per day. Gummies should be chewed and can be taken with or without food. Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool dry place at or below 25 C.

Each gummy (3g) contains:
Echinacea purpurea L. Moench (echinacea) 350 mg
[aerial parts; 1:3 extract providing 117 mg of dried herb equivalent] Sambucus nigra L. (elderberry) 167,05 mg
[fruit; 4-5:1 extract providing 751,73 mg of dried herb equivalent] Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 35 mg
Zinc tartrate 31,70 mg
Equivalent to zinc elementaL 10 mg
Propolis 5 mg
vitamin D3 1,25 g
Contains sugar (sucrose) 1,28 g per gummy and glucose syrup 1,28 g per gummy.

IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES is a complementary medicine, discipline-specific, combination product that contains echinacea, elderberry, ascorbic acid, zinc, propolis, and cholecalciferol. It may support a healthy immune system and help to relieve symptoms of colds and the flu. It also contains antioxidants for the maintenance of good health in children from 2 to 12 years old.

FREE FROM: Gelatine, gluten, nuts, eggs, milk, soy, preservatives, artificial colours, flavours and sweeteners. Do NOT give IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES If your child is allergic (hypersensitive) to echinacea (see Warnings and precautions), elderberry, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), zinc citrate, propolis, vitamin D3, or any of the other components of the formulation (see PIL for more info).

IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES contains echinacea and propolis, and you should NOT give it to your child if he/she is allergic/hypersensitive to echinacea or propolis (see Do NOT give IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES). It may also cause an allergic reaction in individuals sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family of plants which include ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and several other herbs. Children who have been diagnosed with atopy (a genetic predisposition to allergies) may be more likely to experience an allergic reaction
to echinacea and care is required. Caution is also advised in children with sensitivity to beehive by-products given the propolis in the formulation. Immediately stop use if your child demonstrates any sign of hypersensitivity/allergy, such as a skin rash with or without hives, fever, wheezing or a tight chest, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat (see Possible side effects) and consult your doctor. The echinacea, elderberry, and zinc in IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES may stimulate the immune system. IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES may therefore cause flare-ups of auto-immune diseases by stimulating disease activity. If you child has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Crohn’s disease, scleroderma, or others, avoid giving him/her IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES, unless it is under the supervision of his/her treating doctor. Children with cancer should use IMMUNO-SHIELD GUMMIES only under the supervision of their oncologist/treating doctor. It is not known whether supplementation with vitamin C benefits the growth of cancer cells or whether it may have a detrimental effect on chemotherapy and careful monitoring will be required.
