Visual Fault Locator 30mW

The pen shape visual fault locator is a compact but powerful fiber optical cable test tool. This tool can be used to locate sharp bends & breaks in jacket or bare fiber. It can also be used to identify the connectors in patch panels and identify the fibers during splicing. The choice of a continuous light output mode for steady fault detection, or a flashing output mode makes for easier fault identification. Our VFL’s come in a verity of power capabilities, meaning they are rated for specific distances. 5 mW – Can reach 5km 10 mW – Can reach 10km 20 mW – Can reach 20km 30 mW – Can reach 30km
