Revitalize your faded denim or give old jeans a brand new look with Guarany Jeans Hot Water Fabric Dye. Specifically formulated for heavy natural and cellulose-based fibers like denim, cotton, and canvas, this dye delivers rich, deep, and permanent color when applied with boiling water. Whether you are restoring a favorite pair of faded jeans or upcycling a denim jacket, this product offers excellent, vibrant coverage.
A single 40g tube dyes approximately 300g of dry fabric
(Note: heavier adult jeans often weigh more than 300g and may require two tubes for full, even coverage).
Note: This product will not dye synthetic fibers such as polyester or acrylic.
Directions for Use:
Open the 40g container using the handle of a spoon and shake well before using.
Step 1: Dissolve the contents into 1 litre of boiling water. (Tip: For deep colors like black or navy, add 2 tablespoons of cooking salt).
Step 2: Pour this solution into a larger container with enough hot water to completely cover your fabric.
Step 3: Prepare the garment by washing it first. Dip it into the dye bath while it is still wet, and stir constantly for 30 minutes in boiling water.
Step 4: Remove the fabric from the dye bath and rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Let it dry in the shade or use a tumble dryer. For best results and to lock in the color on heavy denim, use our colour fixative, Guarany Fixacor.
