The A4988 is a complete microstepping motor driver designed to operate bipolar stepper motors in full, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth step modes. It has a built-in translator for easy operation and is capable of driving up to 35V and 2A. The product features a fixed off-time current regulator, with regulator in slow or mixed decay modes. There are no phase sequence tables, high-frequency control lines, or complex interfaces to program.
