Storage
BEFORE AND AFTER OPENING, STORE THE PRODUCT IN A COOL DRY PLACE. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. USE POWDER WITHIN 4 WEEKS FROM OPENING.
Replace the lid and close tightly after each use.

Feeding Guide
Your toddler will need about 2 x 210ml cups of Aptamil™ 3 Follow-up milk a day, as part of a balanced diet. This table is given for information only. Please consult a healthcare professional to adapt the daily diet to the needs of the child. Always respect the following rule: 1 level scoop of powder in 30 ml of water.

Preparing your baby’s feed
Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill. The baby should always be held upright while feeding. Refer to the feeding guide or advice from your healthcare professional when mixing the feed.

Always wash your hands and clean everything used to mix the feed.
Sterilise the bottle and teat, or feeding cup and spoon by boiling in water for 10 minutes.
Boil clean, safe drinkable water and pour measured amount of water into the bottle or feeding cup. Allow to cool.
Using only the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder.
Add the correct number of scoops of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful.
Immediately cap and shake the bottle vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds or mix thoroughly by stirring the feeding cup with a sterilised spoon for 45 seconds until the powder is fully dissolved.
Cool feed by holding under a running tap, or placing in a container of cold water. Check the temperature of the feed and if necessary, continue cooling. Once at a suitable temperature, feed immediately.
Wash the bottle or feeding cup after feeding.

Important Notice
Breast milk is the best food for your baby. Breast milk provides the ultimate nutrition and protection from illness. If you do not breastfeed, ask your healthcare professional which infant formula you should use to meet the needs of your child. Failure to follow preparation instructions carefully can be harmful to your baby’s health. This follow-up formula cannot be used as a breastmilk substitute from 0 to 12 months. This product poses a health hazard when introduced prior to the recommended age. Please consult your Health Care Practitioner before introducing Aptamil™ 3. Infant formula increases an infant’s risk of allergy. Never leave a baby alone during feeding.
For hygiene reasons, only one feed should be prepared at a time and consumed within half an hour. Discard unfinished feeds as soon as possible. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, as hot spots may occur and cause scalding. Never leave your baby alone during feeding.
