Features for check valve:
The inline check valve prevents water from flowing back through the line. It is used on reverse osmosis systems to prevent backflow through the membrane. When the check valve malfunctions, it can allow the tank to empty back through the membrane and down the drain line.

This item is 1/4″ quick connect to 1/8″ male thread elbow check valve

Feature of Flow Restrictor:
A flow restrictor is designed to create back pressure on the membrane and allow the membrane to produce purified water to be delivered to the storage tank. Flow restrictors are sized to match the flow with the size of the membrane.
