Unlike pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid), tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a lipid (fat) soluble. As such, it can penetrate further into the skin where it works with vitamin E (tocopherol) that s naturally in your skin or skin care products to target the skin s underlying support system via a different pathway than water-soluble ascorbic acid. Other calming ingredients like Aloe, Panthenol, and Allantoin play important (and hydrating) supporting roles to improve skin tone and complexion. The addition of Green tee extract and Licorice extract will help improve and lighten hyperpigmentation. This multifunctional moisturizer contains a potent blend of Vitamin C and Ceramides which strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier to maintain moisture levels and prevent trans epidermal water loss.

Instructions
Use as the second step in your AM/PM skincare routine. Applying one to two pumps of Bariera Moisturizer to clean and damp skin, as this helps trap more water into your skin. Using your fingertips, smooth out the moisturizer upwards and outwards on your face using circular motions.
