Features:
– An active dried distilling yeast to produce Malt Whiskey.
– This strain is recommended for use in the in the production of malt whiskey from malted barley.
Dosage:
– 1 gram per litre of mash
– Temperature range: 20°C â 33°C
– Alcohol tolerance: 15% ABV
Rehydration Protocol:
– Rehydrate yeast in 10 times its weight in water, at 35°C for 15 minutes.
– Add a small amount of the sugary medium (approximately 10% V/V) to the rehydrated yeast and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
– Add the rehydrated yeast to the sugary medium and mix well.
