The Aloe ferox in Flora Force Aloe Bitters is a stimulant laxative. It is fast-acting, encourages peristalsis and is known to stimulate bile secretion. It is known to assist with:

– Constipation: It stimulates colon motility, which augments propulsion of the stool, and reduces the time it takes for the stool to pass through the colon, thereby reducing the water absorption from the stool to keep it softer

– Indigestion: The bitters also stimulate the flow of gastric juices, including bile, which improves digestion

The Psyllium in Flora Force Aloe Bitters is known as a bulk laxative – it draws in moisture, increases in volume and softens the stool. It is known to assist with:

– Digestive health: as a bulk-forming laxative it makes bowel movements much easier and regular without increasing flatulence

– Gut health: psyllium is a prebiotic, which is the food needed for healthy colonies of probiotics to grow in the gut

– Soften stool: psyllium has the ability to soften your stool provided you drink enough water, which can prevent complications of constipation, such as haemorrhoids and anal fissures

– 60 vege caps each containing Aloe Bitters crystals (250mg) and Psyllium (200mg).
